This little fellow and two of his buddies enjoyed basking in the sun almost as much as I did this morning. I was concentrating on sketching a piece of grass and I looked up and all three were starring at me. This guy was the brave one and stuck around even after I stood up to walk around (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5IcEzZaPmU). Hope, Amber, and I went to the Pine Creek Trailhead and had a picnic and put our feet in the water. It is so sunny and beautiful here I think I might just stay up here for the rest of the year!
